journal from iblee that brought me to tears

No, Lee, you don’t have to stop your messing around, or think of your future, unless you want to. I just wanted to say out loud and personal that this deep orange book of graph paper with the inscription and front cover word art brought me to tears yesterday when I opened up the package. It was the “J. Liberrian” I think, that did it. But the Doors quotation rawks, too. It was a boost of confidence needed and needed and needed. Orange, graph paper, a good weight and a strong binding. And perfect for pencils. A jennimi must.

Now I have a new proper journal/notes/dreams/anti-calculations book. If anyone out there understands the balance between the paper and digital worlds (are they separate, in the grand scheme?), heck, if there’s anyone out there who understands balance, it’s Lee Leblanc. This zen librarian pays it forward, and I need to tell y’all that. I just need to. To everyone who thinks personal web sites that mix personal with professional are mistakes I quote my dear friend jenny who says mistakes can be beautiful too. However, I don’t happen to think that reminding the little world of jennimi readers, “hey, you never know what connections and joyous moments might also await you if you resist that shushing urge”* is a bad sentiment either.

Thank you again. And oh yes, I’ll be writing in it. :-)

  • You’re quite welcome, (by the way, this preview comment-as-you-type is sweeeeeeet), but I’m not doing anything special other than what I’ve learned from you :) so I guess that is, cool.
